FREE EDUCATION COSTS
It seems not many know that in Germany people go to school from elementary school (Grundschule) up to the doctoral level is free of charge like to pay building fees, tuition, etc.. In other words, schools in Germany are free. Even if there are charges that are social contributions (Sozialgebhür) where the amount is relatively small. For example, at the Univ. Bremen for the summer semester 2001 only pay an amount of 164.60 DM. This fee is included to purchase a Semester Ticket. If you do not want half of the ticket is only allowed to pay 80 DM.
PROMOTION OPPORTUNITIES
In Germany, for someone who wants to continue the education level equivalent to S3 (Doctorate) there is a special privilege, ie, when Indonesia have been passed in S1, then in Germany there is the possibility for direct promotion to doktoran (not necessarily through the Diploma / Masters).
